INCAS participated with its representatives at the signing ceremony of the first protocol for
the development of a 100% Romanian national drone program, hosted at its Strejnicu
headquarters on November 5, 2024. The event centered on the creation of advanced
technological solutions for unmanned aerial capabilities, including medium altitude long
endurance drones, autonomous loitering munition systems, and multi-role maritime vehicles.
It was a valuable opportunity for INCAS to meet government officials, including Minister Bogdan Ivan and Minister Ștefan-Radu Oprea, to present its expertise in aerospace research, and to strengthen its position in the national defense and technological innovation landscape. The collaboration will foster innovation and support the adoption of local technologies within Romania’s defense system.
